Great Interest for Mapuche Native textiles in Chicago

ProChile Chicago and the Consulate of Chile supported Chol-Chol Foundation, a non-profit organization, at the trade show "Chicago Market, Living and Giving". In this show Chol-Chol Foundation caused a big impact among the business people! Reaching buyers from most of the Midwest area and closing deals with buyers from Illinois, Wisconsin, Massachusetts, Ohio and Michigan.

 In the words of Johanna Pérez, Executive Director of Chol-Chol Foundation: "....Our participation in this show was a unique experience, considering that Mapuche textiles were totally unknown in this market..."

 The Chol-Chol Foundation had a Chilean booth at the Handmade section, each year this show gets more than 1000 companies from over 45 countries. More information about this show at:
