ProChile Hosts the First Wine Tasting for Executives in the Information Technology Sector in New York

The Trade Commission of  Chile -ProChile New York- in association with the business platforms: Chile-IT, CORFO, and Wines of Chile made a successful wine tasting for high executives in the technology services industry. The event was held in the premises of the General Consulate of Chile in New York with the presence of Alejandro Cerda, Director of ProChile New York; Patricio Damm, the Consul General of Chile in New York; Juan Carlos Muñoz, CEO of Chile-IT; Jack Stoddard, President of Chile-IT; and Sam Kass, representative from Wines of Chile. 

            The event included the presence of executive from prestigious companies such as Cisco, NBC,JP Morgan Chase, Telsource and others who had the opportunity to taste wines while the offer of Chile in the IT services was being presented. Wines of Chile made a presentation about the wines of Chile and invited to taste the wines among them being Carmenere, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon and a blend of Sauvignon, Carmenere and Cabernet Franc. 

            Chile-IT began operations in 2009 and is the organization coordinated with the Association of Chilean Companies of Information Technology (ACTI) which brings together IT companies in Chile. Their mission is to promote and support the member companies. ProChile and CORFO, who formed the Business Center of New York, worked closely with Chile-IT in order to achieve a better presence and create opportunities for the Chilean IT service industry.
